Gabriel Caste is a Cuban-American director, producer, and editor based in Los Angeles. When he's not directing a slate of narrative titles for an international streamer, he partners with brands and musicians to create moody and gorgeous films.
Caste started his career producing non-fiction, working with Cameron Crowe on David Crosby: Remember My Name. He moved into an editing and VFX role, ultimately leading post-production for Davis Guggenheim’s Concordia Studio.
After a fruitful year of festival screenings, which garnered critical buzz and multiple nominations in genre, acting, editing, and cinematography categories, Caste's latest film Are You Awake? secured online premieres with Short of the Week, Director's Notes, and Film Shortage.
